Managed to get The Pendle Witch Child onto the hard drive. I've been waiting for BBC4 to repeat this for ages as it always went wrong before.

Yeah I was pondering that although I'm sort of moving back into my Mums for the foreseeable future as I don't want to live alone in my place for a while so now I'm more inclined to catch em per week. If I forget stuff inbetween each I will avoid em and watch em in 1 or 2 chunks  Speaking of which I did was the first episode of Season Four last night. God I've missed the show. Very happy that it's been renewed for Seasons 5 & 6! True Blood's last Season is 7 too. They better do it justice. |

Dexter Season 7. Think I'm upto episode 5 now. I have missed watching this show. It's a shame I've heard that Season 8 is poop for it's last Season. Not thrilled about this Hannah person who I know takes a prime place in Season 8 too. I'm going to finish it though, I must! Then by my Birthday I can watch Supernatural, sh*t i think it's Season 9? Well I'm getting that for my birthday in 10 days anyway  |

Dexter is pending now and I'm SO close to the end of Season 8. I'm sure im on the last disc so like the somewhere in the last 6 eps haha. Instead I'm watching GoT every Tuesday with my Mum and currently making my way through Season 8 of Supernatural (it was this not Season 9 I got ). I'm thinking I'll have to pre order Season 9 on amazon.com though as I have seen NOTHING on ITV2 about Supernatural. I'm sure they've bailed on it. |

I finished The Walking Dead last night! Holy sh*t holy sh*t holy sh*t holy sh&*t!!!! I want Season Five now! Yeah  Quite a bit of WTF?!?!?! toward the end of those last few eps. Ep 4/14 (The Grove) was especially What... The... F..... {Spoiler}reminded me a lot of that mid-season 2 ep when the walkers are released from Hershel's barn and then killed, with Sophie last to emerge... and Carol was central to that emotional scene too.  Answer: Answer: Yes it does feature, though they have shifted various bits of plot around throughout the 4 series so far, so it's not really spoilering to read the GNs (Vol 20 is the most recent) Fr'instance Sophie is still alive (so far) in the comic/GN series. Marvels Agents of Shield also got all a bit wft-ery in recent eps {Spoiler}The re-rising of Hydra, betrayals within the team and the like , which has at least distracted me from shouting rude things at the TV whenever that damn 'bus' appears. Having (finally) seen the latest Cpt'n 'merka this weekend puts a lot of that wtf-ery into a better context. New (2nd) series of In The Flesh kicked off on BeebThree on Sunday night - very, very clever take on Zombies, using them as a metaphor for some of the ills of modern society. |

Almost Human
JJ Abrams and Karl Urban, very Bladerunner-esque* plot and set... absolute winner in my book. Very strong pilot ep.
Aaaaand... Fox cancelled it after just the one series... Damn fools. And damn fool Americans for not watching this.
I'm predicting this easily becoming another cult classic like Firefly, cut off way too soon.
* to the point I was expecting to hear mention of Tyrell Corp or Voight-Kampff. The grubbier bits of the city are lifted straight out of Bladerunner... brilliant!

Yeah Shadowcat, you need to give it a try again. I bailed after 3 eps of Season 2 right until Season 4 started. Then I picked it up again. Season 2 after about half way became ok to watch. Its my least favourite Season for sure. Season 3 was bloody brilliant. You get to meet the Governor who I love and now have a Pop Vinyl figure along with Rick. Season 4 is epic as sh*t. Give it a try. Don't let Season 2 ruin it for you, I'm glad I gave it a shot again.
Did some Googling. Neither Living nor ITV2 are picking up Supernatural. I wonder if that means we'll even get a UK DVD release? Have a feeling I may need to order Season 9 from the US. Hmmmmmm.

Finished Breaking Bad. Must say that the final season... was disappointing. Was still brilliant TV, but... it felt, well... pointless... {Spoiler}It felt either like they needed more episodes to breath, or season 4 was supposed to be the last. The first 4 seasons followed on from each other and felt 'complete'. With season 5 it just felt like loose ends were being tied while introducing the Lydia/Todd and gang storyline from nowhere. Resolution felt thin, while Hank's demise was jarring. Overall Breaking Bad certainly does deserve its place in television history, even with the less cohesive final season. |
