The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 4 I think it was? It was the most boring, most people have said that. The last 10 seconds were ace cause I instantly knew what's happened for this to happen lol.
American Horror Story Freakshow Episode 2. It's ok. Twisty is so creepy. You can tell Dandy is too. I hope it gets better though, mind.

Stuff I've enjoyed this year:
Gotham - very good Defiance S2 - yup, that worked for me Marvel's Agents of Shield S2 - has found it's feet and the rolling story arc is interesting and gives the series more purpose. Walking Dead - back on form

Oh... and Ripper Street (Season 3)
One of the benefits of Amazon Prime.
Very good indeed, no noticeable change from when it was BBC - in fact, the quality of writing has improved and the stories, both the within ep ones and the overarching story arc are stronger than ever. The latest Ep 7 deals very well with the raw deal most women were dealt with in Victorian times.
The opening Ep of Series 3 was train-related and had me wincing occasionally at some of the blatant train-related errors, the following eps have all be pure gold.

Fortitude Ep1 Sky's mych hyped go at a Scandiwegian-esque crime drama, set on Svalbard (a bunch of islands roughly a quarter the size of the UK/Eire, but with a population of just over 2,500. Mainly because it's well within the Arctic Circle and damn chilly!) Christopher Ecclestone {Spoiler}bettered Sean Bean by getting killed before the end of Ep 1! Pretty good, lots of twists and turns, nudity, shagging, polar bears and secrets.

Community: Season 1
Saw Community was on Netflix, watched the whole first season in two days while spaced out from recently treatment, which probably helped. Fun comedy with good characters.

We pretty much mainlined Amazon's 'Bosch' series on Prime over the weekend. 10 eps of greatness. We are huge fans of Michael Connelly's series of crime novels featuring LAPD detective Harry Bosch and this series really brought him to life (there have been a couple of Hollywood movies prior to this, none of which really did it for us).
Titus Welliver absolutely nailed the titular jazz-loving detective and many of the supporting cast populated their characters such that they met my mental picture of them almost perfectly.
The plot for this 10-ep first series was an amalgam of 3 separate novels, but the various strands cleverly interwoven to merge seamlessly and give a nicely rounded and satisfying story. What changes there were (most notably shifting forward 20 years... in the books Harry is a 'Nam vet, in the TV series an Afghan vet) were generally well handled and not stupidly obvious.
High quality production, well written and well acted. We're very much hoping there'll be at least another series (or two)

Decided to see what all the fuss was about and watched the first 2 episodes of Game Of Thrones, yes I know I'm a few years behind. Not sure to be honest. As someone who read a lot of fantasy in the past most of the characters are stereotypes and I can, I think, see how the main plotlines will pan out just from the first 2 episodes.
It wasn't bad in any sense and as I've heard good things I'll stick with it.

I'm one of very few of my friends and acquaintances who've neither read or watched GoT. Well... I did start reading Vol 1 way back when (as I read pretty much any/all fantasy I could lay my hands on) and recall giving up on the book as being too generic/tedious. *shrugs* New season of Victorian horror slashfic Penny Dreadful is well through season 2 and still as bonkers as ever. Missing Billie Piper's hilarious 'Oirish' accent though, now she's been risen from the dead by Dr Frankenstein ('Are you doing the accent??' 'Hrrr'rr ewe?' ) CSI (Vegas) has ended (almost for good... just one final 2-hour special to tie up the various loose ends to come in September *sigh*) Marvels (Adrenaline-fuelled) AoS has ended (with what looks like a partial breaking up of the team... and O.o Simmons O.o ) NCIS one more ep to run for this season... BBC's Jonathon Strange and Mr Morell has some interesting ideas and AU stuff, though I must admit to nodding off a couple of times when watching >.> Gotham continues to entertain C4's Humans looks very promising - Ep 1 set out the various sub-plots very nicely and the 'synths' are portayed in a very creepily good way. Definitely a keeper.

Myself and the other half have been watching the American office (Think we're about 8 episodes into season 3 now) and Prison Break (think we're about 9/10 episodes into season 2). Am enjoying both immensely. Have also been making my way through Legend of Korra Season 4 when I get a chance. 3 or 4 episodes int it now. Will be much sad when I finish it and there's no more Avatar

I actually gave up after the 2nd episode so that probably shows what I thought. Partly because it took a lot of space on my Sky box, partly apathy and partly because the prospect or working through 5 series wasn't appealing. Currently watching Fortitude.
