RED on Film4 which, while pretty good in a turn the brain off sort of way, reminded me a lot of The Long Kiss Goodnight which I thought was better. Other films may have better plots, scripts, etc... but nothing beats HM Helen Mirren, wearing a ballgown and paraboots, crewing a .50-cal.

Watched the original F.W. Murnau version of Nosferatu, (not the Werner Herzog/Klaus Kinski version) from the Blu-ray Steelbook I got last week.
The first proper vampire film and was the first to introduce vampires dying in sunlight, it's aged a bit (it is 91 years old!) but it's still effective.

The Wolverine
average Marvel fare, a few more gaps in Logan's history filled in. Set largely in Japan, with plenty of katana action, ninjas needlessly flipping and a rather intriuging mid-credit trailer with Prof X and Magneto...
6/10

Hitman on Film4 which I watched basically because it was on. Not bad in a turn your brain off sort of way but honestly, how hard would it be to find someone who was bald with a bar-code tattooed on the back of his skull?

Kick-Ass on Film4 HD via my Sky PVR. Not bad; it was one of those films where you sit through the slow parts waiting for the action sequences. I'd heard that having an 11 year old girl as one of the main protagonists was quite controversial but to me it seemed perfectly natural. Probably due to girls with guns being such a common theme in anime. Loved the soundtrack particularly Banasplits by The Dickies

Watched NEDS the other night. Not a very good film but the Jesus scene was funny. Noodle.

Sucker Punch
And it was a bit rubbish, although not putting 100% effort into watching probably didn't help as I was watching it inbetween making paperwork burn.

Insidious which was at best average. I found it predictable and cliched even having the female psychic and her 2 geeky sidekicks.

Took my other half to see the original Die Hard at the cinema last weekend. Ace film, even better on the big screen
