So I don't know about you guys but it seems like last nights episode hasn't gone down well with a lot of people. Part from a few reviews the general comments I've seen have said it was pretty poor. I didn't hate it myself though I missed about 10 minutes when nature called so I missed a few things regarding the big plan but overall I didn't mind it and personally thought it was better then last weeks. That said the preview for next weeks...*sigh* I'm not to sure I'll catch -_-

Probably doesn't help that they had to cut out roughly 40 seconds of a beheading due to recent events The Sheriff's head is cut off during the final fight, he then reattaches it before his half man/half machine comment , it's online at Dailymotion at the moment. Not a fan of that ending with the arrow but it was a fun enough episode and also had a quick Troughton cameo (on the screen in B&W as Robin Hood.)

I didn't enjoy the Dalek episode so much. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention to it, I don't know. I really enjoyed the Robin Hood one though, watched it on BBC3 last night. I like the bits of humour in it, Capaldi with that spoon made me happy I'm really enjoying Capaldi. I think it might be because I haven't seen ghim in anything else so like with Daniel Radcliffe always being Harry to lots of people, I guess Capaldi will be the Doctor to me I saw about 15 of Matt Smiths episodes, about 5 of David Tennants and about 2 of Christopher Ecclestons so yeah not a massive fan until Matts. Those 15 I saw were the last 15 episodes of his incarnation so I've been into the show since then so Capaldi will ultimately be who I see more of as I don't think I'll stream old eps unless BBC3 shows any I guess. I AM SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR SATURDAYS EPISODE! Looks ace! I always like the scary ones.

Personally I liked the first four seasons and the 2009 special's which brought about the end of the 10th Doctor and Start of the 11th. Now from season 5 until the 2nd half of Season 7 I'm not much of a fan of at all. I loved Matt Smith as The Doctor but as I'm sure everyone knows by now..... I HATE AMY POND!!!!!! ....if you didn't know by now I wasn't a fan of hers Now I watched seasons 5 & 6 and there were some interesting bits and I liked Rory and River but overall I just wanted to boot Amy out as quickly as possible. By the start of season 7 I had enough and decided not to watch it even though I'd heard that Karen Gillan would be leaving half way and that Jenna-Louise Coleman would be joining as replacement. So I missed the first half and around Christmas that year the rest of my Family ended up watching that years Christmas special which would feature the return of Jenna-Louise Coleman. I must admit after being burned with Amy I didn't really care she was gone and so I wasn't going to watch the special. However I did catch parts of it and well... I didn't hate it and neither did I hate Clara. By the end of it I was somewhat actually paying attention to it and couldn't wait to see the second half of Season 7. I did then watch the second half last year when it returned and liked it. I loved the 50th special and I found last years Christmas special was only Ok in my book. Was totally annoyed like everyone else that wouldn't be until August this year that we would see this new Doctor in action. Sadly I haven't found these first few episodes that brilliant; Peter Capaldi has been brilliant as he has been funny and dark at the same time. I'm glad they're killing the romance side of the Doctor and his companion which I really like what they did with the 10th Doctor and Donna. Now if the rest of the season could be a little better story wise I can really get on board. Thankfully this Missy storyline has me hooked to find out more but if I find the next few episodes a little lacking I may skip until the end...which knowing Steven Moffat's luck will end up online before then

You don't think they're going to pull the whole Missy keeps "collecting" people and maybe the last 2 or 3 eps is the whole reveal of what's going on? I'm worried if this is going to be the big OMG of the season, it's going to have lost it's poof is its done as a season finale. It's been done by too many shows to the point where it's boring.
A lot of people don't seem to like Clara atm. Like the dialogue she's given and that isn't making her a very nice/endearing person.
I have no comment on that yet. I didn't like her in the 1st ep but I got that it came from what she went through and what not.

I love Clara Though Donna Noble will always be my favorite The funny thing about the Missy event is that I hope I'm not right. You may ask why to which I say I want to be surprised/shocked.

I watched the first episode, but haven't bothered with any more. The only recent Doctor I've liked has been Tennant, it just worked for him! Tom Baker will always be my favorite, used to watch him at the weekends on UK Gold.

That last (Robin Hood) ep was really 'meh' - a real filler ep. That was just plain silly... and not in a fun, amusing way. MEH.
I did quite enjoy the previous dalek one, though the 'lone dalek' schtick has now been done at least 3 times, with variation, in the New Doc era.
oh... and I really must share this wonderful post from tumblr (where it's appeared on a number of friends' pages)

Ooooooh you're getting me excited now Max! I really hope they do push the scary limits with this one as what, it was the Angels with Tennant, that hotel episode over your fears and the Silence for Smith and yeah whilst they were cool, they weren't insanely scary.

See I never found the Silence to be that scary were as The Weeping Angels I do find scary. Plus since then I dare not take my eyes off of Statues I'm not sure how much of Listen I'll actually get to see as everyone else here at home really hates this new series. If they get bored with this weeks they may decide to change the channel. Granted I could watch it upstairs if that happens but I'm not sure I'm going to be that bothered by it either.

See, I'm taking no responsibility for the disappointment this will bring. Especially from you Dami, and your Kamehameha.

My Kamehameha? I think you mean my Final Flash Well 3 out of 5 stars isn't too bad I guess but I don't think it will be as good as the director seems to think it is.
