So those wonderfull guys who made the Time of EVE 6 episode ova story have decided to set up a kickstarter to fund releasing the newly put together movie version which links the 6 episodes together with a new beginning and ending added and a bunch of linking scenes between the ova's epsiodes that covers more of the world outside the cafe. Oh and aswell as the blu ray being BBFC rated for the Uk(they refund the $10 shiping cost listed on kickstaters after the blu ray ships to you as they couldnt alter the kickstarter funding thingy in time) you'll get a ton of nice lil extras to cover the extra cost for the movie...im gonna slap a bid in myself at some point and i dont even own a blu ray player!  |

Thanks for posting this broken Just watched the Series on Crunchyroll and I loved it, $55 is quite expencive, but I think im gunna have to cave in on this one |

It's about 35 quid total so about what you'd pay for half a series from manga or kaze yet 1 bazillion times more entertaining |

I really want to support this... Time of Eve is superb both as a series and the combined theatrical version. But... I have no plans to upgrade to Blu-Ray/HDTV for the foreseeable future, so would be buying a disc I can't play. And yes, I know cheap players can be had, but they aren't compatable with our ancient but perfectly serviceable telly! A subs-only DVD version, I'd happily (and substantially) support, but not Blu-Ray.  |

I dont currently have a blu ray player but im still gonna throw in my 65 dollars for this kickstarter because i really want to help them fund more time of eve stories as the world is one i would really like to see explored more.

Just a update, Anyone who has pledged, you are advised to change the option for delivery to "Ship to US" To do this go: - Manage Your Pledge
- You should see: "Since you're outside the US, be sure you've added $10 to your pledge amount. In the US?"
- Click the "In the US?" bit
- Scroll upto the top and change the $65 to $55
- Click "Continue to Next Step"
- Make sure it says "Pledge amount: $55, Rewards Amount $55"
- Confirm
- Once back on the main page, make sure the Pledge still says "You Selected" and is highlighted (It should be)
My concern is WAS by doing this, the Automated system will have you set to being in the USA and thus once you attempt to use a UK address it would bounce back with generic "The address you have selected is not a US Mainland address, Please use a US Mainland address"
I have asked the ToE people and there reply was as follows
So in theory it should be fine..... proberly
Personally, im sticking with the Ship Outside the US, worst what could happen is I loose $10.. big deal. I have NO faith in Automated Systems (Esp when it comes to Shipping)

They've topped the $100k mark (not bad, considering their goal was $18k!). Hopefully there'll be some extra goodies for the backers (a digital copy of the translated manga would be my choice).

Just upped my pledge to $80 for the official Art Book.
Lots of debate going on around the additional OVAs (Aquatic Language and Pale Cocoon) being DRM'ed digital downloads only - most backers (myself included) want these included on the discs and DRM-free, especially given pirated versions can be quite easily found now, so DRM-ing them is a little like shutting the stable door...
I'm still hoping the manga will be included.
Still, looking very good at $135k with a week still to run!

Had to back out due to not having the spare funds available due to a bank up Awwww.... that really sucks, Serenity. Any chance the bank will rectify the balls-up within the next 6 days?? Latest update is that the 2 OVAs (Aquatic Language and Pale Cocoon) will now be part of the physical release and DRM-free. It'll push the release back a few months (to Jan 2014) but I think most backers prefer quality and completeness over speed. And the fund has just topped the £140k mark  |
