A thread for asking for opinions on potential series to watch/buy but please try to avoid posting spoilers.
I'll start with Fate/Stay Night Bladeworks. I've seen Fate/Stay Night and enjoyed it but is the Bladeworks version simply a cutdown re-hash or is it worth seeing in it's own right?

It's a different route from the game that changes a few bits and generally does some new stuff with the basic concept...pick it up when its abit cheaper is my suggestion.

I found memo pad a good series
Bit of a slow burner but once it gets going it was worth a watch, its not worth Amazons £20 asking price though...

Yeah C for control is pretty fun, again don't pay the amazon price for it(check anime-on-demand they may have both in their weekly offers eventually).

DOTW Gantz. I've had a few misfires with these and was wondering what others thought if this series. I've had a look around the net for reviews and most of them have said it's a total gore fest that was heavily censored when show on TV but the DVD release is ok. The plot from what I've read kind of reminds me of the film The Cube but it's a long series so does it entertain all the way through. I know opinions are highly personal and one persons amazing is another persons rubbish so what's yours?. Noodle.

It's a good series. Bit gory in places.

Yes, but do they try and use gore instead of story?. To me there's nothing worse then a series that tries to be shocking but actually has little substance other then the "oh my god!, did you see that?, eww gross!" type of thing. Noodle.

Today I was asked a question by someone in regards to what Anime I would recommend. They said they enjoyed Akira and Robotech and really liked Afro Samurai and then said "well you know what I like, so what do you recommend?". Now I've only watched Akira and seen Robotech in boxes on the shelf at CEX as for Afro Samurai that doesn't interest me in the slightest. They also said they were on Netflix (I'm not). So to sum up, what would you recommend to someone who liked those series and is on Netflix?. Noodle.

Metropolis, attack on Titan, Golgo 13, (maybe) kite.
It's difficult to say based on three very different anime titles (especially seeing as I too have only seen Akira)

Kill la kill. I know I may be late with this one but a lot of people seem to be watching it and enjoying it, so what's so special about it?.

It's like flcl in it's execution (and it's by the team behind Gurren Lagann if I'm not mistaken so it's picked up a fan base through that). It's quite a fun little show with an interesting premise. I've not seen it all so I can't comment on how well it progresses.

I'm interested in Kill La Kill and when it gets dubbed I'll probably purchase it.
Future Diary anyone? It's again on my list when it's dubbed. Is it any good?
I put myself off Deadman Wonderland you see and this one's teetering close to being removed of my list along with Sword Art Online that I'm unsure of.

Future diary, from what I've seen, is also very good. If I recall, it was a little hard to follow to begin with (could've been something else though)
