This forum has some specific rules which apply on top of the basic forum rules.
1. Do Not Plagiarize. Any accusations of plagiarizm will be dealt with immediately. If you have proof that a piece of work has been stolen from another author, you must provide this proof in a private message to the Admin so that the matter may be investigated. A warning will be issued in the first instance. Bans will be issued for further offences.
2. Do Not Use Literature as A Way to Incite Hate If your work is perceived to have hateful or malicious intent, it will be removed and a warning issued. Further offences will incur bans. Freedom of speech is valued but must not impede on another's rights or freedoms.
3. Include An Author's Note Before the Post Proper
This should include a basic introduction of the plot (a blurb), a reccomended age rating, a list of major flags (see point 4) and key characters.
You may also include any notes about the creation of the piece that you would like to share and links to other places where the piece can be read.
4. Age Rating & Appropriate Tags Must Be Included In Titles
- Explicit content or gore must be tagged [E] or [G],
- Fan Fictions must be tagged [FF] with the source/main characters in the title if possible or an opening authors note before the actual post if not.
- Spoilers must be tagged [SPOILERS]
5. You Should Set Up A Single Thread For All Of Your Works
To do this, you must make your posts in the following format
Story Title:
Universe/Basis (if a fanfiction):
Main Characters (if a fanfiction):
Genre: (Romance, Essay, Horror)
Type: (Poem, Short Story, Chapter)
Blurb:
Link to story: (must be to deviantart, ff.net, an open access livejournal or tumblr post)
Any other comments/writers notes etc. (not required)
