Do you do weathering on Trains? Looking to get a Hornby EWS 08 weathered I have been known to  Even if EWS is dangerously modern, 08s weather in pretty much the same way, no matter what colour they start out as! I can do light, medium or heavy weathering, all based on photos of the real thing. Ping me a PM, I'd be happy to grot your lok.  |

Well, I'm no longer getting an EWS 08 because the seller didn't have it in stock, instead he offered me £30 off any train on his Ebay, so I've ended up getting a Bachmann Class 66 EWS for £110 |

Took delivery on Saturday of my shiny!new purple Acer B1-750 Android tablet, a case and a 32Gb micro Sd card. My old Ainol tab has been slowly dying over the past month, with the onboard memory chip intermittently failing. I had some birthday dosh, plus a good offer on the Acer, so went for it. Only gripe is it runs Kitkat 4.4.4, with it's stupid restrictions on apps writing to the SD card. Luckly, it'll take me a while to fill the 16Gb onboard memory and hopefully by then there'll either be a fix from Android or (more likely) a root/custom ROM so I can fix it myself. So Sunday was spent sorting apps and files. Oh... and a book on German diesel locomotives |
