Ticket for Bill Bailey's show in Bournemouth in November Came in the post, purchased it back in May. His 'Qualmpeddler' tour?? Saw him in Reading back in May, very good (as always) and the parp-horn organ was wheeled out again ^_^ Recent non-manga/anime aquisitions for me have been a WW1-era Scottish cutaway tunic, puttees, hose, Tam O'Shanter*, 50-round bandolier, 2 x 1903 pattern 15 round belt pouches, 2 x '03 patt 10 round pouches, '03 patt mess tins and cover, '03 patt harness, 100 rounds of inert .303 ammo in 20 x 5 round clips, 'housewife', button stick... plus a kitbag and shackle to keep it all in. All in preparation for the WW1 anniversary stuff next year. I'll try and get some pics when I try the whole lot on. I can already tell you that the wool tunic is toasty warm and that 100 rounds of .303 weighs a fair bit. And I'm doing this for semi-serious enjoyment... Also picked up a Belgian L702 gasmask (1939) for steampunking, plus some old East German army kit (leather belt, rank pips, cap badges) because I like the look of them. *my brain always wants to type Tam O' Shatner...

It's the same - think it's only called that over here as we may have heard of tepanyaki, but only the more die hard will have heard of okonomoyaki. Actually my stupidity was showing again as I couldn't even read the box properly. I should have said Teppanyaki not whatever I wrote because Teppanyaki is actually a traditional style of hot plate cooking, which can be used to make Okonomiyaki. Noodle. Still I'm looking forward to having fun with it.

Level 42 ticket came today.
What was more odd is the choice of courier, you wouldn't expect a secure courier like DX to deliver ticket valued at £24. If it goes missing in the post simply bar the barcode from being allowed. And either post out a replacement or collect from box office.
