I don't normally buy figures, but there are a few - this pair were bought second hand, the grey one is now on my monitor and the blue one will guard my monitor at work.  And here they are being useful ....  |

Forgot to mention but I bought an Epiphone Les Paul with some of my Christmas money, needed a cheap guitar with humbuckers.

My 3rd and final My Geek Box was delivered on Saturday, along with (finally) my 'Welcome' MGB.
Have to say I've been very unimpressed by MGB - I had 2 of Novembers' box, returned one (at my expense) after querying the duplication, December's box was mediocre to say the least, January's was okay and the Welcome box was largely a repeat of December's mediocrity. Not to mention they took (very) early payment in mid-December for another 3 months. Got that refunded after complaining and, having had the 3 boxes of my subscription, have now cancelled.
So...
Nerd Block - good, but expensive once shipping is factored in
Infinity Crate - good value, decent themed boxes
My Geek Box - error-prone, average boxes, poor value.
May try Zavvi's Z-Box next

Some serious sexy stuff arrived today (though customs duty, VAT, and Parcel Force charges hurt(*)   *) Parcel Force charges are no better/worse than Fedex/TNT/etc, however unlike those you've not always guaranteed to be hit by customs and tax 9and thus their charges) |
