I may have bought *cough* eight*cough* copies of this... modelrailwayvillage.com/ Even as a partwork* aimed at absolute beginners, the magazine is pretty basic/shoddy/rubbish... but a reasonable model of a BR Mk1 coach for just £4... yeah, that'll do nicely . Lots of lovely conversion and butchery fodder. Might even get a couple more before they disappear off the shelves. *120 issues, #1 at £4, #2 at £6 and the rest at £9... that's £1072 on a trainset which will take over 2 years to make... I think a basic Hornby or Bachmann starter set and some add-ons would be awhole bunch cheaper and quicker... And... Partworks - builds into an untidy pile of magazines in the corner of the room XD

Not only could you make a track the equal size, you could also make a to-scale model village for that amount. Damn. I want to make a to-scale model county now.

Car insurance renewal notice Admiral wants £338.14, but so far checking Direct Line and Aviva has beaten that quote, cheapest so far is Aviva at £274 with potential £70 cashback.

Have you tried Tesco, they were the cheapest for me when i got mine as a first time driver. Everyone was quoting me over £2000 and theirs was just over £600. So i'm sure they're bound to be cheap if you've been driving a while.

Ok, so it wasn't today but as I've been without my regular computer for a week I've been unable to post my bounty from my foray into Nottingham. I've already tried some of the things here, but the main one I'm interested in is the instant Yakisoba noodles. If you look on the Wikipedia page Nissin has a rather unique way of cooking them compared to other instant noodles. Noodle.

Ooh...i spot some Collon. I had some of the chocolate one yesterday. Certainly is. Notice the difference in packaging, I would say yours are Thailand where as mine are from China. The flavours that I have are Banana, Milk as well as Chocolate. Haven't tried any yet but I'm looking forward to it. Noodle.
