Damn i was just gonna post that! When it comes to this I'm scanning any bit of news for it which of includes trailers so of course I'll be posting that one asap. So as excited as I am about this future show I do have some worries about it like how they bring back Phil Coulson and how this show effects Phase 2 and 3 of the Avengers movie themselves. However I hoping this series will help make spinoffs TV wise and movie wise |

The obvious answer is LMD for how they managed to not kill him in avengers, i think the real answer is gonna be a sort of season long arc though. As for how it'll effect the next phases well phase 2 is already happening now so shield is part of that as for phase 3 we'll have to wait till they announce what films are gonna be part of that first. I'd like them to use shield to introduce possible new avengers though and maybe even set up phase 3 movie concepts ahead of them being announced, also if they can somehow find a way to cameo Jessica drew and Sharon Carter at some point that'd be a nice way to make fans want spider woman and captain marvel down the line |

Well it seems Luke Cage will be the newest member to join this universe based on the trailers. Which means he wont be played by the Rock to some peoples relief. Personally I'd love to see She-Hulk in this series ^_^

I'd like them to add some of the masters of evil into the mix for a future thunderbolts film down the line, but thats just because moonstone and the others are cool characters and if they do it right they can shift hawkeye over there once his shield and avengers work is done Also im not sure it is Luke cage it could be Rage which would be a major twist since he's a pretty minor character. |

Well the general feel is that its Luke Cage in most of the gossip for this ^_^ For now all we know for certain is that this show will be the loading point for Marvel heroes to appear so that they can/will appear in the Avengers movies or even their own movies. www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/news/a482087/agents-of-shield-to-feature-surprising-superheroes-says-star.htmlWhich isn't a bad idea because they can test out which characters might work out best for movies and which ones could just be for TV appearances. I'm guessing Maria Hill will probably come into this show next year once "How I met your Mother" finishes next year and Cobie Smulders becomes more available. Though I know some fans didn't like Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill so they yet recast her. Personally I thought she was ok in the movie but I wont complain if they did recast her unlike with the plans of recasting Hawkeye  Theres been some question on wither there will be another Hulk movie but i think they should go in the direction of The Indestructible Hulk series were Bruce Banner works for Shield under Maria Hill or in this case Phil Coulson. It would certainly keep the fans happy I'm for a while |

Nah they should totally make Planet hulk nah just joking your idea works better tbh and they can always have hulk somehow stranded on a far away world as a result of avengers 2 or 3 if they want to go that direction. I'd like them to eventually set up a shield spinoff with a similar concept to the initiative program where we get a show about training these new heroes to better fight badguys and such. As for Hawkeye being recast i believe its partly because they want to make him part of the tv show and renner is abit to big of a star for that(or at least he thinks he is) to be honest though i'd rather they switched hawkeye for ronin tin the next film that way he can actualy kick ass with more than just a bow. |

Channel 4 got the rights to Agents of shield and apparently plan to air it within days of the us, no word on if they plan to cut it to shreads like other shows they have shown in the past or what time they plan to air it but they beat sky and syfy in the bids which shows they really want the show.

Yeah I was surprised by that choice of channel too. I figured one of the Sky channels would get it or at least the SyFy channel. Then again not the strangest choice to air a show like this; Channel 5 has Once Upon a Time.
So the American air date is September 24th and no doubt one website or another will have it online moments after it airs ^_^
Channel 4 better have the day afterwards on the 25th or there will be hell to pay *shakes fist in anger*

To be honest they'd be better off holding it back a couple of weeks to help them not need to take odd week breaks between the show startign and the xmas break so look at early october for a start date that way they'll catch up during sweeps or something.

thing is if they show it too soon after the us then people will start getting bored of the random breaks the us takes all the time so ratings will suffer, it'd be better if they start showing it say 2-3 weeks later then they can catch up over the first 12 or so eps without having to take silly breaks whenever the us does.
the post xmas break is gonna be the big ratings killer though as unless they rerun the show in the gap people may forget to tune back in for the latter half.
