Agreed, not that I was planing to buy either season. Last series i bought via MVM's deal of the week was Fruits Basket complete. Shame the anime only covers a small chunk of the manga.

I think they randomly choose a series sometimes so thats why you get strange instances like this(they did it with slayers aswell a few times), i grabbed series 1 and will happily wait for the next deal on series 2 as ive seen it subbed and tbh im in no rush for it lol

Don't get me wrong I'm having this series, it was decided at around 28-30 sec in the opening credits and it's based on an old story so I can say " It's actually based on a classic tale that's like really old y'know so I'll just have to put up with the fanservice". It's tough but I'm prepared to make the sacrifice.

Just a pitty only the first 2 series follow the story though, season 3 onwards goes off into its own dumb direction and ditches the whole interesting plotline developed over the first 2(given at the time i think they had caught up with the manga but in that case you wait you dont go off and do some crappy self made story that adds new characters and resurrects others).
