Excellent work my young apprentice, welcome to the green side. On another note, did those buns arrive ok?.
Tonight I had Husband Cakes and Spicy Sizzling Pork Chicharron. Husband Cakes are the opposite of Wife Cakes. While the Wife Cake is sweet the Husband Cake is kind of savoury as it actually has a meaty taste to it kind of like a little Eccles Cake. Very nice though. And finally the Chicharron. Now you may remember that these were mock pork crackling made from Green Peas and well, why would you make a mock pork snack and give it a mock pork flavour, it just doesn't make sense. They are very nice though and you do get a big bag (90g) for about 90p so I shouldn't complain, I mean they could be for Buddhists who have to give up meat but still want meat as was explained in an episode of G.I.T.S S.A.C. Noodle.

Some Butter Cookies from Taiwan. Now I know you're not really going to get quality when you buy a massive bag of them for £2.99 and the little packets smell like a swimming pool but the cookies themselves weren't actually too bad, maybe a little dry by themselves so I think I shall get some cream cheese and stir in a bit of wasabi paste for a kick and try them that way.

Tonight I'm eating Oishi Seaweed flavour Peanut Crackers from China. Basically these are just peanuts that have a large crispy coating on them and some dried seaweed rolled on them. They're actually quite tasty and you gat a decent size bag for the price. Also added bonus of them being roasted not fried and 0g Trans Fat and yes it does have a warning that says "contains Peanut". Noodle.

Tonight I decided that I would have something really exotic and pulled out a bag Jack'nJill Potato Chips Unagi Kabayaki flavour. Unagi Kabayaki is actually boned freshwater eel split in two then dipped in soy sauce and grilled, or something like that. Now as I have never tasted the real thing I have no frame of reference, I mean what does it taste like, I don't know but what I do is that these crisps are very nice. They do have a slightly smoky taste to start with then go into a nice fishy earthy sort of flavour. I have to say that I'm impressed with the quality of these chips as sometimes they don't seem to travel well and the flavour seems to disappear leaving them to be a bit bland and not as exciting as promised. No such problems with these ones though. You could certainly have fun playing the guessing game with these or watch people stare at you as it's another one of those where you first pull the little bag out of the big bag, pour them into the big bag then add a sachet of flavouring. Also some peanut butter Mochi which I would have to rank joint third with Taro but Green Tea all the way!. Noodle.

8-)Nice one!. Actually the lady at the counter had asked me if you were happy with your purchases and as you are now using it on your own you must have been. I'm not on a diet tonight but I'm having iced Belgian Buns and they don't count. Noodle.

Had the last Red Bean Mochi from the box. Also eating some Ejiao Honey Jujube. These are like the other Jujube that I had except that the taste is not as strong and the fruit seem to be a bit smaller, however they are still just as sticky so I'm eating them out of a bowl with a toothpick. There's some great engrish on the packet as the "Quality level" is listed as "Classy". Perhaps I should have dressed for them in a fetching top hat and tails.....as my cape and cane are missing. I'm going to look out for more candied fruit as some of them are actually quite tasty and make a change from the usual chips and Pocky. Noodle.

Just some Mango and Milk flavour Mousse Pocky and some Taro flavour pillows made by Oishi. The pillows are wheat biscuits that have a Taro flavour filling in them. They actually taste more like a breakfast cereal as they are a bit dry but the filling is actually quite tasty.
Also as Chaotico has thrown down the gauntlet with his Onigiri, I went into B&M homestores and picked up two Blue Dragon Sushi kits for 99p each. Each one come with seaweed, rice, rolling mat and other things. So I'm going to have a go at making Sushi. If it turns out well I'll let you know and if it doesn't then I'll deny everything. Noodle.

Actually tried Sushi for the first time . Bought two of those snack things from Tesco. Sadly they left a lot be desired, maybe because they were quite near their expiration date. The pack contained Prawn & Rocket California Roll, Tuna Teryaki California Roll, Tuna & Red pepper Hosomaki, Surimi Hosomaki, Smoked Salmon Nigiri, Ebi Prawn Nigiri and a little bottle of Soy Sauce in a fish shaped container:D (yes really). I've also been checking out some Sushi videos on youtube so hopefully I'll get my own made by the weekend, and they'll taste better then the Tesco ones. If you do try Sushi, Soy sauce is a must. Noodle.

I found the tesco pre-packed sushi rather.... inedible if im honest. It was really damn dry even after adding soy sauce and just tasted like soy sause after soaking the damn stuff. If you dont mind spending a bit of money. Yo! Sushi has some really nice Salmon Sushi. And I must reccomend Chicken Yakisoba!! Its friggin delicious!!! Be warned, you should go there on a empty stomach. I finished all of mine bur my mate didnt, he gold told off as they really dont like wasted food. And Be warned, it is expencive

I've had the Tesco veggie sushi (for veggie I am...) and yeah, it's pretty bland. The M&S stuff is (slightly) better. Sadly the sushi place we used to have below my office has closed - while it was twice the price of the supermarket stuff, it was easily twice as yummeh. There is another place just down the road - their sushi is about half-way between the Tesco and the closed place in terms of value/yummehness. 'Trad' sushi bars tend to lack decent veggie options ("fish sauce over that, sir?" >.< ), plus Shel isn't a fan, so it tends to be when I'm out and about on me tod. *sigh*
