Kabuto Noodles from Tesco. As I'm living the student lifestyle minus all the things that students do I'm living out of packets so I tried these and they were okay. They were not as good as the usual instant noodles that I could actually buy from an Asian food store but the reduced price tag made them easier to swallow.

Another Kabuto for breakfast, this time it was Miso Ramen as it seemed the most breakfasty one. I prefer my noodles to be softer then these ones but maybe 'm just weird or don't understand that the noodles are supposed to be that firm. Only 2 left to go.

Kabuto Chicken Ramen flavour. This one was the best so far but I think they overdid the herbs for my taste. Peanut butter Mochi. Ahh, Mochi. I've missed this stuff for ages and it tasted soooo goooood. Didn't buy any myself but I had to get Matcha and Ginger Latte packets . Happy Noodle.

Twinkies. On the back of the box it says "May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children" Yeah, not just children too. If my mu(o)m had put this stuff in front of me and told me it was treat I would have thrown the biggest hissy fit too. Milk Duds. It says so in the name so I shouldn't have expected much.

T_T
a rather special tin of sweets, which were a nice present from Kitteh-kun.
Sakuma fruit drops in a WW2-era replica tin. As seen in Hataru no Haka.
Yeah.... *that* tin.
The tin full of feels.
Thank you, Kitteh-kun.
Both for the sweets and for turning me into a sobbing mess.

My last pot of Kabuto noodles Beef Pho flavour. While these were okay for noodles they had nothing on the Nissin cup noodles or even some of the other ones that I've had from a proper Asian food they served their purpose which was to remind me that if you want a decent instant noodle cup you're not really going to find it in Tesco.

Pancakes or perhaps more accurately panblobs as I never seem able to master not having them stick then congeal when I try to turn them. Tasted ok though.

Yesterday was pancakes for 7 (me making). The tricks include a hot enough pan and enough butter (too little and the pancake will stick), waiting ,long enough before tossing, a light better (100g plain flour, 1 egg, half a pint of milk) and also no seasoning in the pancake. Made 21 yesterday with no problem ones.

Calbee Okonomiyaki Crisps. I need to take a trip into Belfast and restock soon as they've moved me from out of there into another place. I still have a big spicy beef noodle bowl and a packet of White Rabbit there, bugger.

Not actually eaten but ... it's ~6 litres of Japanese curry - vegetarian - but not for tea. I'm actually going to be freezing this in ~250-500ml portions for use with tomkatsu and similar
