Well it's that time of year again when trailers (or in this trailer) appear online for upcoming TV shows in America that start in September. If they survive long enough they get shipped over here at some point. There is only one new trailer out today and it is FOX's show "Gotham": As ever if you wish to know what other shows that have been planned for this September (or later) you can find out more about them and what there current status are here.Hopefully in the next few days we should see more trailers for new shows. As for current shows status best to check here.

Cool, CSI and NCIS both continuing, and Amazon's Bosch series (based on Michael Connolly's long-running crime novel series) looks very promising.

Woooooooo Supernatural! If only effing ITV2 pulls their finger out and gets hold of the damn show. I'm sure it's been something stupid like 2 years now since my Mum last spotted Supernatural on there. Ooooooh I hope Channel 5 picks up Once Upon A Time again. I got into that late so never seen it from the beginning. It became a Sunday night ritual as it made me nice and sleepy and dream nice too ready for work on the Monday. I'm not sure if we're behind or upto date now here as the last ep was Peter Pan based with them sailing away... Happy as ever about Modern Family. That shows makes me so happy and makes me crave starting a family of my own. I am very much like Claire & Cameron Yay about the Minday Project too. Delightful little show albeit nothing special. Tis good for lunch time watching on E4 My Mum will be happy with a bunch of these like Sleepy Hollow, Grimm, The Originals, Vampire Diaries & Revenge. She'll be gutted about Nikita. Genuinely surprised people still give a sh*t about Greys Anatomy and Glee. I used to like both shows but even I'm bored now haha.

Genuinely surprised people still give a sh*t about Greys Anatomy and Glee. I used to like both shows but even I'm bored now haha. Sorry to tell you I think Channel 5 have dropped Once Upon A Time here so it needs a new home some where. My guess is that either one of the Sky channels or one of the Channel 4 channels will pick it up. As for Glee that comes to an end next season and yeah I liked the show at the start I really stopped caring after a few episodes of season 4. Surprisingly I thought I'd still be watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but actually I got a little bored with it after Christmas. I'm sure it got better thanks to the events of Captain America 2 but I still haven't gone back to it and likely wont. Still loving Arrow however and looking forward to seeing how this season ends. Last year season end was awesome....unless you lived in Star(ling) City ^_^;; I like Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory and cant wait until the next seasons. As for planned shows I of course like the sound of The Flash TV series which is spinning off from the Arrow TV series and I hope a trailer comes out soon. I also like the sound of NBC's show "A to Z" if nothing else I want to see more of Cristin Milioti: Who plays the Mother from "How I Met Your Mother" or as some people have now called it after the ending "How I wasted your time" -_- One thing bothers me from last years upcoming TV shows. That is why did FOX ever even make the American version of "Gavin and Stacey" which was called "Us & Them" if they were never going to air the episodes? I mean I know its the norm for American remakes to get cancelled first season (with some exceptions of course) but FOX cancelled this before it even began. I mean if they didn't want to go forward with it I'd understand but they made more then just the pilot and it even had a planned air month at some point but then the month before boom FOX decided to cut the episode order and pulled it from whatever time-slot they had planned. I think I want to play a game with this years new shows once I've seen all the trailers and see if I can predict what shows get the chop and which ones go on for a few seasons. The last few years I've been nearly correct on everything; so this year I want to have it down somewhere that I made the right or even wrong call ^_^

So some quick new series updates starting with with FOX. FOX has order two other new shows straight to series, the first is something called "Empire" and the second one is called "Red Band Society". No trailers for either of these just yet though I expect by the end of the month some sort of preview before then online. CAST: Griffin Gluck, Octavia Spencer, Charlie Rowe, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Zoe Levin, Brian “Astro” Bradley, Ciara Bravo, Nolan Sotillo, Dave AnnableAlso picking up shows for straight to series is NBC. They've picked up four shows for the new season and they are "Marry Me", "State of Affairs", "Allegiance" and "Odyssey". Now currently with most these shows on both lists I have no real feeling one way or another but I kind of think Allegiance sounds horrible but maybe its just me. Here is Deadline's description of each show:

Once the parents are reluctantly pulled back in, the stakes rise they are coerced into spying on their own son and turning him against his country. CAST: Anna Friel, Jake Robinson, Peter Facinelli, Nate Moooney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Elena Kampouris, Treat Williams, Daniella Pineda, Jim True-FrostOh and in renewal news Da Vinci's Demons has been renewed.

They all sound sh*t apare from ALLEGIANCE IMO Yeah I think it was the season with all the new cast and Rachel & Kurt are in NY and Kate Hudson's the teacher, I lost all interest from that season haha. I really hope a terrestrial channel picks up Once Upon A Time then as I don't have Sky and I'd be gutted having to wait for my Mum to put em on dvd for me as it's my sleep ritual! Ah yeah Arrow! I forgot about that. I think Mums recording it for me to pick uo whenever I fancy She's also going to record that Vikings on the History Channel. I'm hoping it replaces the hole that Spartacus has left I'm still rooting for a Cesar spin off with he and Markus in it. Mmmmmmm hehe. I heard about the How I Met Your Mother finale! I'm actually glad I got bored of that show as talk about sh*t ending! I've also sadly got sick of The Big Bang Theory. They just dont feel like anything new anymore I'm still hoping True Detective gets a boxset on Sky Planner so I can watch that when I have time as it sounds like something I'd really like if I'm patient with it the way I was when Carnivale first started. I was gutted beyond words that Carnivale never got a thirs series, especially with what happened with Sofie.

Well Glee's biggest problem was that it needed to split itself into two shows one being high school the other New York. But whatever the show got boring and confusing about who was dating who so I stopped watching. Then of course Cory Monteith did shortly afterwards and well Finn was about the only character I liked so even less of a reason to watch it now. I don't really understand why Two and a half men is even still on or why people even watch it. I find the whole thing even more creepy then when Charlie Sheen was the main star on it. Anyway looks like FOX has cancelled the last of the shows it hadn't decided on part from one. All that was left anyway was "Rake" and "Dads" which I think may of made it here and Surviving Jack and Enlisted which as far as I know hasn't come over here nor do I think will unless Comedy Central wants to buy them like they did Mad Love for some reason. I don't remember seeing much about Rake so i couldn't really tell you what I expected that to do but I remember seeing the trailers for the others and even the first episode of Dads and I kind of knew there fate from the start. Enlisted and Surviving Jack I actually thought didn't look bad from trailers but I remember thinking it wouldn't be renewed or if it did would likely get cancelled season 2. So again I called it right, with Dads I thought it looked terrible from the trailer and I thought "well maybe its just how the trailer is cut" and so I caught the first episode and realizing it was worse. Which is a shame as I like most of Seth Macfarlane's work and I know he can do live action stuff like Ted and I think A Million Ways to Die in the West looks funny but this was just horrible. I can only hope Seth Macfarlane's next live action project with Patrick Stewart is much better. The only thing left on FOX's list is ironically a different Seth Macfarlane show Family Guy. The likely hood is that it will be renewed since it does well and its kind of surprising that it hasnt already been renewed. FOX has also passed on three new shows for this season. One was the American version of Dead Boss. I never saw this version part from the trailers and I must admit I didn't like the look of so I passed on it myself. My only guess why FOX passed on this is because they want to avoid pass American remakes and of course what they did with "Us & Them". The other two shows passed on are: FATRICK (single camera; geared toward series) PASSED ON STUDIO: 20th Television TEAM: Nahnatchka Khan (w, ep), Corey Nickerson (w, ep), Nat Faxon (d, ep), Jim Rash (d, ep), Jeff Morton (ep), Kevin Walsh (ep) LOGLINE: Realizing that his life isn’t quite where it should be, a thirtysomething moving man and formerly fat kid is forced to face the damage caused by years of being Fatrick: a chubby little kid just trying to survive. CAST: Zach Cregger, Marcia Cross, Ray Ford, Dante Hoagland, Trevor Larcom, Audrey Scott, Bayne Gibby, Lucy Rust, Marc Evan Jacksonand: NO PLACE LIKE HOME (formerly UNTITLED RICKY BLITT; multi-camera) PASSED ON STUDIO: Warner Bros TV TEAM: Ricky Blitt (w, ep), Johnny Galecki (ep), Stephen McPherson (ep) LOGLINE: A stunted, set-in-his-ways thirtysomething man living with his mom finds his perfectly organized world upended when his mother/roommate gets married, and her new husband moves in along with his three teenage children. CAST: Jane Kaczmarek (lifted cast contingency), David James Elliott, Peter DaCunha, Brendan Meyer, Jon Heder, Natasha Bassett

I mean I don't watch original show but I know it does well enough so I kind of figured this would of been a series order. Now for the bad news....unless like me you don't watch any of these CW has cancelled, which are Carrie Diaries, Tomorrow People and Star-Crossed. I figured all three were going to be cancelled. Or at least last year I thought Carrie Diaries was going to be cancelled but whatever this year is fine too. As for Tomorrow People I knew it was going to end from the first episode which I only liked one part of it while the rest of it was pretty bad. I only caught a few minutes at most of Star-Crossed and I thought that was enough for me to hate so yeah not surprised here -_- EDIT: So a very quick update from NBC, Constantine and Mysteries of Laura are getting picked up.That means there will be 4 DC shows from September onwards. Arrow will return in October and I assume The Flash will start either the same day or there abouts near. Constantine will start on NBC around that time or sooner and of course whilst they have it FOX will air Gotham from around the same time.

They have also just cancelled Trophy Wife and Mixology. Meanwhile CW have now renewed Hart of Dixie, The 100 and surprisingly Beauty and the Beast. Which really raises some eyebrows as it was pulled half way through the season only to burn the last half over this summer. I mean I know the first season was meant to be so bad that it was funny but I heard this latest season was just bad. Whatever though makes no real difference to me.

The trailers for the new NBC shows are out -
Bad Judge:
I thought this looked rubbish. None of it looked funny for this comedy and the acting just feels awkward. I don't know maybe someone somewhere will find this funny but I do know I certainly didn't. So would I cancel it? Probably from this trailer alone; will it? Well that's hard to say just yet but I kind of think it might
A to Z:
After seeing the trailer....I got to say I did somewhat like it and it made me smile but I never laughed at anything in the trailer. I couldn't help but think this wont last long because honestly I don't think this show will work as well as a series. It would work better in my opinion as a movie and even then it wont be anything special. One thing really did bother me about this trailer that took me out of it was that Katey Sagal is narrating this for some reason. I've got nothing against Katey Sagal but it just seems like an strange thing for someone like her do and I kind of hope they drop her from that role. Now will this show last....I so wish it would if only to see more of Cristin Milioti but so far with the lack of anything that made laugh out loud (or as the young people call it lol) and like I said felt this would work slightly better as a movie I just cant help think this wont last more then one season.
Constantine:
My thoughts... well actually not sure how to judge this one. For one thing I've never read the comics for which this one is based on and second ghost shows haven't really been my thing. However putting all at that aside I actually don't mind the look of this at the moment. I mean nothing scared me about content of the show which if that was the trailers aim then it failed on that part I suppose but this looks kind of cool. Oh and take note other two shows this one actually made me laugh in two places. Yes the none comedy so far is the only thing and made me a laugh just a little...so really not a good start for those. Will this show last....honestly I need to see the first episode before I could predict this shows fate. I know that should be true for any of these shows I'm somewhat reviewing but sometimes all I need is a trailer to get the feel of the show and that can normally tell me on way or another. Also with "Constantine" I'll still wait to hear what fans of the comic have to say about how correct or wrong this show is.
The Mysteries of Laura:
"The Mysteries of Laura" and the second return of Debra Messing. Now we all know what happened to her first return with "Smash" and to be honest I'm not sure why people thought that one would be better because Steven Spielberg was behind it somewhere. I mean anyone who knows me knows how I felt about Terrible Nova...I mean Cr*p Nova.... I mean..Ugh lets just get back on topic. Going into the trailer of "The Mysteries of Laura" I had no thoughts one way or another after reading the synopsis for the show and you know what I'm kind of glad I watched the trailer as it was that rare thing here kind of funny. Ok not burst out laughing funny but enough to put a little more then just a smile on my face afterwards. When I heard Debra Messing was playing a detective I couldn't help but think "what?" but now after seeing the trailer its more Debra Messing playing a mother who happens to be a detective I actually get it. So will this last....yeah if the trailer isn't just the best bits and it doesn't take itself to seriously then I can see this last more then one season. Will it be on for years....not sure yet only time will tell I guess.
State of Affairs:
I haven't got much to say on this one. I mean I didn't like it myself but maybe this one of those shows that I'm the odd person out on which happens...a lot. I mean there isn't anything here that I shouldn't like about this but for some reason I just don't like this. However I think other people will like this show enough and so I think this one will last a little while.
Marry Me:
Well...I'm surprised this...actually is funny....for the most part. I laughed more at this then any of the other comedies on this list and the story seems pretty good. I think this could work as a show....for one season...or even just a couple of episodes. This is another one of those shows that probably works better as a movie then say a whole series. I mean unless they plan to drag this story out like "How I Met Your Mother" I cant see this last so long. Granted I hope it has a much better ending then "How I Met Your Mother" but again a story like this doesn't need more then a few hours to finish telling. However I will give this a chance who knows maybe it will find a way to drag this story out in a way that doesn't make you want to scream "GET TO THE POINT ALREADY".
Well those are my thoughts and you may or may not agree with me. I cant say I cant wait to see any of these but I will say I'll give some of these a chance at least once like Constantine. Who knows maybe these trailers are cutting out the best parts and of course the other way around can apply that these trailers are the best bits. One way to find out and to watch them if they make it here...or you know watch them other ways.

So today FOX has released some new trailers ^_^
First up is the American remake of Broadchurch, "Gracepoint":
Just wish David Tennant wasn't doing an American Accent but otherwise it looks good. Hopefully as far as remakes go this one should last the full series order.
Also FOX have released trailers for the following shows "The Last Man on Earth", "Backstorm", "Hieroglyph", "Wayward Pines", "Mulaney" and "Empire".
Now out of this lot I'll probably only watch "Backstorm" and give "The Last Man on Earth" a chance. I dont really see anything wrong with "Hieroglyph" and "Empire" but I dont see anything about them that would make me watch. However I think other people might like those shows so I think that might be on a little while. As for "Mulaney" well I really wish it was funny and also I wish it would drop the canned laughter -_- , who knows maybe someone will find this funny; I just don't see why. Now as far as "Wayward Pines" goes I flat-out didn't like it at all. It's one of those shows that I really really don't like watching at all so I cant be fair-minded in judging it at all.

Time for ABC trailers starting with Selfie:
This actually doesn't seem too horrible...but once again I cant see why this might need more then one season. Once again only time will tell on this.
Forever:
Holy cr*p.... I actually like this? Nothing wrong with the story....I mean if it isn't too graphic I could watch it. Will it last...I err...think it might?
...
Sorry its just that most of these trailers haven't really shown me anything that I like as much as I wanted.
Getting back on track up next is How to get away with Murder:
....meh. Not a show for me but I can see other people liking this and I can somewhat see how this could last one season so lets just move on.
Next on this list is American Crime:
...? I'm not even sure what happened in this trailer and nor do I even know who this show is meant to be about. So um if anyone understood what happened in this trailer let me know -_-
And now last up is Whispers:
Wow this did not disappoint...on how bad it is -_-
Not going to be fair on how to judge Whispers but honest I don't think this could last one season.

Time for CBS trailers starting with The McCarthys: .....*sigh* not sure what I was expecting from this "comedy" -_- Scorpion:Huh....it actually seems ok. So...nothing to complain about just yet. Stalker:This one of those "not my kind of show" so whatever not for me but I'm sure some people will like this....again not sure why. Madam Secretary:You know...I probably wont watch this one but not because I don't like the look of it but rather I wont be able to understand whats going on. It actually looks good if I liked shows like this. Sadly I just find them boring but I'm sure my parents would like this one and on gut feeling I think this one might last at least 2 seasons from the trailer alone so likely hood I'll sort of know what will have happened in it on way or another. Extant: ... *cough* Well thats all the new trailers...well there is also NCIS: New Orleans:Theres nothing wrong with this from what I can tell I'm just not a NCIS fan.
