I finished Nier for the first time today, and it is now one of my favorite games. I'll be playing a New Game + for Ending B this week, then on to C & D!

Finished the Hammerlock DLC on Borderlands 2 and started the Tiny Tina one with my Brother. If TWD episode 4 comes out this week, I'll play that

TWD is out for release today! Now it's school holidays, I'm praying my Brothers already downloading and playing so I get some of that sweet sweet goodness tonight. If not, it'll be more Tiny Tina or watching anime.

Played TWD Episode 4. What a cliffhanger! really good episode. Like so many reviews, it's a case of eagerly wanting to play it but also not for fear of what will happen to the characters next

Played a bit of Murdered: Soul Suspect as my bro wanted to watch me. Duno what to make of it. I like that Roy Mustang aka Travis voices a character in it and was intrigued to google that a guy from The Pretender series voices the main character

Recently finished Beyond: Two Souls. Oh dear. This somehow ended up being worse than Heavy Rain. And that's mainly because it doesn't have anything like the shaaaaaaaaaaaaan glitch. Something just does not resonate well with this. It's not completely bad, but the odd thing is that when something actually happens it's at its worst. Action sequences and plotting feel flat, dull and uninteresting. Yet when the game is slow it's okay - the sections when you play as child Jodie are great. A young girl facing alienation and prejudice for something that she has no control over. These sections worked well, giving an introspective on human behavior. But everything else is either disjointed, dull or daft. Throw in the Dragon's Lair QTE approach and we still have something trying to BE something. The actual graphics for Jodie's face, though, are outstanding and borderline photorealistic, no scratch that... they ARE photorealistic. But then again Dragon's Lair was also visually outstanding, but played poorly. Best thing about this was the inclusion of E3 2013's The Dark Sorcerer tech demo. And watching that again maybe... MAYBE David Cage should try a comedy for his next project, since it works far better than his previous attempts. 3/10Oh, and no mention of Heavy Rain can go without Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaun! ENDING SPOILERS - BUT WHO CARES!?! GOAT SIMULATOR! Game of the Year. Game of Forever. Bow before the goat.

I finished Heavy Rain. Really enjoyed it but was underwhelmed with the Origami Killer reveal. They could of done so much better with that.

Went and finished a run through of FF III on steam, playing through on PSP at the moment.
Astebreed on PC - I played through on easy earlier, but I reckon it's gonna be a game I stick with. So far, so good.
Deadpool on PS3 - I beat the crap out of this game on PC already, so it's been a long time coming! It's certainly nothing special, but it's simple enough and really fun. It can be funny, but VERY repetitive so I tend to play this game in small doses.
Final Fantasy VIII on PC - Decided to mod this up for my first Steam playthrough. I haven't decided whether or not I'll do a high level game or a low level game yet. The magic booster is basically super easy mode, but at the same time it's helpful if you only want the storyline. It'd be pretty handy all round to be honest, especially when you're also playing Triple Triad.

Final Fantasy VIII on PC - Decided to try out some other mods, but resorted back to the usual choices. I ended up playing about an hour or so of Triple Triad, got some good luck in the short time I played, and got Squall's Punishment weapon. Usually I'd go for Flame Saber as it looks more bad ass (and it's easier to get), but this is a nice change to my normal routine.
