Finished K-on. This was actually quite a good read and had some really funny moments in it, so much that I've even had a look at how much it would be to buy. I also read some of the other series that go with it but I don't think I'll continue with the Anthology series as it seems to serve no purpose unless some one knows different. So as that's finished I caught up with the latest scans of Haganai (note to Amazon, don't try and sell me book 4 when you know I haven't bought book 3 yet) and I've started KissXsis. Reading the comments posted about this series it sounds like it could be a good comedy and the first 2 chapters would confirm this but I have a feeling that this series could lead down a slightly darker path which could quite interesting in this noncest story. Noodle. Up to Chapter 13 and I retract the noncest comment. If I go to jail will you all write to me?.

Have been reading Planetes (scans, sadly as the T-Pop manga is long OOP and commanding stupid money on the s/h market). Up to chapter 11.
Comparing to the anime (now up to Ep 19 of that), there are differences in both detail (space suits) and plot (the office is rarely seen, no manager/asst manager, Tanabe isn't in from the start and the story segments come in a different order, which does mean it's difficult to avoid spoilers.
Both anime and manga have their comedic moments, though the manga tends to be more consistently mature and serious.
Still bloody good though... it's now on my 'must buy' list for when it either gets a proper re-release or the s/h prices come down to a sensible level.

I might read some Tegami Bachi tonight. It is a series I like a lot. But I might read some comics instead. Or both. It depends on how long I can stay awake.

Finished vol 31 of Slam Dunk yesterday. It was the final volume and such a great end to the manga. Half of it didn't have dialogue but the excellent artwork of Takehiko Inoue conveyed the drama and intensity of the final few minutes of the game.

Finished Planetes earlier. Damn, that was a great series with a decent ending. Prefer it to the anime (though it was pretty close).

Read all the KissXsis that have been translated but the word is that the series may have been dropped, still it was an ok series until it started turning weird {weird?}Yes weird. While I know that the basics of the plot might have seemed a bit weird with the guy hitting on his step sisters even though they were only related by his father and their mother marriage, did they really have to go down the peeing fetish route?. Totally spoilt it for me. Started Mysterious Girlfriend X. I enjoyed the Anime version of this but felt that some of the story was lacking however with 70 or so chapters translated and regular updates I'm hoping that I'll enjoy the Manga more. Noodle.
