3/4 of the way through a short 4-koma called Silva. Not a bad little comedy series about a girl from a super secret organisation that is trying to do evil but fails at every turn enrols in a school.

Finished Silva. Quite an odd little Manga but had some quite funny scenes especially towards the end.
Started Tami Hiyori. A Manga that has quite a bit of fanservice in it. The basic plot is about a guy who buys a chick at a festival and it grows into a women who lays eggs, yes, really!. Also a possible plot hole in the fact that the chick was a female and I thought that they were always males as they are often discarded by egg farmers as they don't lay eggs and are therefor unprofitable. See a QI episode for Oriental Chicken sexers and make sure you type that in carefully.

Finished Tami Hiyori. While not the best Manga I've read it's certainly the most forgettable.
Also read "one of those" Mangas based on Wataome. I'm always surprised at how these efforts almost perfectly match the real works by the original artists. Despite the subject matter it was actually quite funny.
Can't wait for the Anime to start.

Frank from Red Garden Manga dropped this month's manga round this evening, so I have Spice & Wolf vol 8, Knights of Sidona vol 3 and Loveless vol 11 to read. Plus he had Bizenghast vol 8 (courtesy of Rightstuf.com's print on demand service), so I ordered a copy via him to (finally) complete this ex-Tokyopop series. Also ordered Flowers of Evil vols 6 and 7  |
