I havent yet managed to watch the anime, its in the list of Deal of the week to buy, (Didn't have any money last time it was on)  Iv given it a bit of a look into and would reccomend the Manga if you have watched the Anime. It looks like they started making the Anime when they only had a few vol. of manga available (like what happened with Fullmetal Alchemist) so although the Anime was good, it doesnt have the ending Clamp wanted the series to have |

Drops of God vol 1 arrived today - Shelley browsed a copy at MCM last weekend and expressed interest (she's very picky when it comes to manga), so a copy was duly ordered.

Read all the chapters I could find of Joshiraku, only about 15, and yes even the Manga reminds you that it's just about girls talking so you can enjoy their cuteness. Not in a weird way either.

If youe able to ignore the fact that every male charactor looks like they are part of a BL series. What your left with is a nice Magical Girl series, that looks like its going to be a fun read.

Ok. It seems as though EVERY male charactor in this manga could fit into a BL manga, -_-
Gets kinda annoying, but il stick with it, want them to capture a fire element card

Stated reading Chobits. Read the first 22 chapters and compared to the anime it does seem to move quite quickly.
It's actually well drawn and is going on my purchase list but it does have a few of those thin strip panels that are really close to the spine. I find them really annoying and could prove a problem if I get the big volumes.

I couldnt find any problem while reading the 800+ page omnibus mangas, there is about 1cm-1.5 cm between the pannels and the spine. This is the same for the "A City with no People" bits. *but I dont mind opening the book out quite a bit, so i do have a heavily creased spine* Nothing like Higurashi thats almost touching the spine |

This is the same for the "A City with no People" bits. *but I dont mind opening the book out quite a bit, so i do have a heavily creased spine* Blimey!, if you're creasing your spine opening a book then you're really suffering for literature and you should be commended and most likely buried in U shaped coffin  . Well I was reading scans so that might be the reason for it. I'll check in FP and have a look for myself. Up to chapter 60 now and I'm really interested to see how this is going to end as I felt the Anime was a bit vague. Still as it's kind of a romance it's more about the journey then anything. Noodle. |
