Yay lets make things even harder money wise for families -_- To be 100% honest, I don't think I disagree with that as much as I could. The sheer amount of single parents who could work (child could go into daycare or be left with guardians)who decide they don't WANT to work becuase they get money from the government is stuped. I agree and respect that some people cannot work due to Health reasons or simply cannot find a place to work. but I dont agree with people choosing to live on benefits for a way of life. *I will be happy to remove this comment upon request* Edit, but yes, this will cause problems, but its something I don't know much about.

*I will be happy to remove this comment upon request* Hey you're entitled to your own opinion, I might not agree you but you are aloud to have it. Strictly speaking I might be bias anyway as I'm not jobseekers but I will say I don't choice to live off that money trust me on that. But it seems like every job I apply for at the moment I either get no reply what so ever, get a reply that basically says "thanks for taking an interest in the role of *blank* however in this instance your application has not been successful but please feel free to apply with us again in the future" or in the very rare case of an interview my nerves get the better of me and I mess up. Granted that last one is down to me but still not easy out there job hunting wise. I totally agree with you Yami, job searching is just stuped at the moment. And im more than aware there are people who are finding it hard to find a job, esp when half the government schemes just over complicate stuff and make finding jobs HARDER!
But on the other hand are are people who take the system for granted and abuse it as much as possable.
I dont aggree and I dont dissagree that limiting the amount of money per-household is a good idea. Its such a grey area of this terrable system.

Have you checked the new jobcentre jobsearch site? global job match, more like global job agency match lol its literally full of job agencies fishing for new members and zero actual jobs, and the government plans to make us use it for all job searching soon lol. the biggest issue with most of the new stuff the gov is pushing to "try" to sort the problem of unemployment is that they could save more money if they did other things instead like cap landlords rent charges and cut the whole atos thing loose since they arent fit for the job they were hired to do(they originally put in a tender for the job search site upgrades believe it or not), ooh and fire IDs since he's obviously criminally insane at this point and lost touch with reality to the point where he believes saying he believes in something makes it fact and has been caught out telling lies more than he's actually helped thus far. IN other news: the queen signed the marriage equality act into law earlier for england and wales(i'm guessing scotland will have to come up with a law once they get independence or something), so yay for the gays they can now get to be just as miserable as regular married couples lol

The jobcentre website is a bit rubbish, try putting in a location and limit it within say 30 miles and it ignores it.
Plus the hundred of jobs on there which either don't exist, already have been filled or are 'phantom' jobs (having to advertise even though they know the person who is going to take up that role)

But on the other hand are are people who take the system for granted and abuse it as much as possable. I dont aggree and I dont dissagree that limiting the amount of money per-household is a good idea. Its such a grey area of this terrable system. I agree that the system is abused but there is a great number of people who use it as it meant to be used. Capping benefits even further wont fix anything. If you've heard of the Work Placement Program you might think its a good idea but let me tell you as someone on that program I can tell you its not. Or at least I haven't found it to work, from my understanding they're supposed to send me to places to get some work experience at different company's but so far none of that has happened and I've been on the program more then a year. All I do is turn up apply for some jobs on a computer, have a chat with my adviser there, make another appointment for next month and then I leave. Pretty pointless so far, last year whilst on the program I was put on a week course called EDI and it's really pointless. It's like the job center's own skill's training course part from its only a week and you get a certificate which is cr*p. Who needs a certificate to show that they know how to apply for a job? Then there was the fact that they didnt contact me for 2 months only to send a letter saying that I had failed to contact them. Bit of a backstory in October I was due to go away to Ireland for a week and the day before I was due to go I was to have an appointment. However the day before that appointment I got a phone call to say my adviser was out ill and that he would call me to remake my appointment. I made sure they understood that I was due away a week and I was told that it had already been put on their system so I wouldn't be contacted til the week afterwards. So a week after I get back nothing no letters or a call nothing about a new appointment. So a few weeks later I'm in my job center with my adviser and I ask what to do and she tells me not to worry as it was down to them to make my appointment and get in contact with. So I didn't worry about it until Christmas eve when I got the letter to saying that I had failed to make contact and that I had until January to make an appointment or they would let the job center know that I hadn't been keeping contact with them. So I emailed my adviser with the provided email address in the letter and pretty much told him what I had been told and I got reply saying that he understood and he said it was his mistake. Anyway long story short I get a appointment for mid Jan and I saw him once a week. Until about February when he left, then it was really cr*ppy from there on. I was told to come back three weeks later and someone would see me. Three weeks later I turn up only to be told that no one was going to see me, I was told that I was probably due to see some new woman but she was starting a week later then planned. I get told I'd get a letter with a new appointment and to come on that day. I got the letter and i turned up on the day only to find my appointment wasn't on the new advisers calendar so she didn't have time to see. So I made another appointment to see her again a week later and a week later I turn but I was a few mins late and she said that she couldn't see me because of it. So made another appointment for two days later and did in fact see her that day. So afterwards I made another appointment for two weeks later only at the time I failed to notice that it was made for a bank holiday which is when they're closed. Thankfully I noticed on the Friday before the Monday that I was due in. Called up and was told it would be on the Tuesday instead. Then on Tuesday I was ill so I called to arrange another appointment and was given another week. Turn up that week and was told my adviser had now left the company. Sighed and Laughed at the same time and got given a new/old adviser and a new appointment a month later. So in May I turned up and thankfully I've been seeing my current adviser since but now its only once a month. And that my dear friends is the work placement plan the government wants me and other job seekers on and If I/we didn't do it I/we would lose our benefits. So if the government wants to save money I could think of some better ways to save some wasted money -_- Also more plans for a third runway at Heathrow keep popping up: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23337754Cant understand why they keep bothering with this idea as the general public and even the Mayor of London have been saying NO!

Because somebody with money wants to build it and keeps bringing it up to people who can help get it done(even if nobody else wants it) perhaps?

so yay for the gays they can now get to be just as miserable as regular married couples lol Err, I think you'll find that's my line and my lawyer will want a word with you. Have to agree though on the Jobsearch site. What a load of rubbish. My favourite part is the bit where you look at the job description and then you have to use the part to tell them why you're not interested in the job and filling out the CV section is just a joke. I don't know how they've done it but they've made a bad system worse. Maybe that's why they need G4S . Noodle.

Yeah ive been trying tp upload my cv for 2 weeks on and off now and every time the system eats it or tells me its in the wrong format, problem is the site accepts word docs and its in word doc format! so yeah i think they can make do for now with the copy i emailed my advisor.

Yeah I've been using the site for a while now and it's almost useless now. The site now has a feature that if you agree the job center can check what you apply for. Now I had to agree so my adviser could look over my applications but it never saved my agreement. I still got paid regardless but it was a pain that every 2 weeks that she would ask about it and it not coming up on her machine. Also I've noticed every time I'm searching for jobs the date stamp keeps messing up by saying the job was posted in 2015 ^_^;; Also it takes ages sometimes to put jobs that you can apply for through the site to put it on to your application history. It's meant to be on there quickly but it somestimes takes 10 minutes. I dont think anyone tested this new site out at all for bugs and what not. F**k, hope everyone is ok. So the Captain that sunk that ship last year whilst showing off is asking for a plea bargain: news.sky.com/story/1116919/costa-concordia-captain-in-plea-bargain-bidPretty much no is also the answer here in this case. The guy is a disgrace and what kind of Captain abandons ship before everyone else? .... Well I mean Zapp Brannigan would....

I was treat like crap by a Doctor when I had to see ATOS and he ended up lying about my condition and I had to take it up in a tribunal. I did get sent another form recently but I've thankfully got a job I can manage to do. And IDS is a lying , and that isn't libelous either as his CV has so many inaccuracies that if most people tried that, got a job and their boss found out, they'd probably be fired. That and all the crap he's come out with the past few years that anyone with half a brain can figure out is clearly BS.
