You could always use the Book Depository for your single Manga volumes, most of the time they work out cheaper even with the £2.80 delivery.

That's been on the cards for a while, obviously they want to get people on the Prime service. £50 for a year, gets you free next day delivery guaranteed (for in stock items), plus various other benefits. We signed up about a year ago and have easily had fifty-quids-worth of postage. Works on a household basis, so while it was Shelley who signed up, I am a nominated member too  I'd say it's worth doing if you regularly (say monthly at least) order from Amazon. |

To be honest, With the cost of postage I feel the threshold should be £15 rather than £10 for free delivery...
Bearing in mind free super saver delivery on amazon.com is $35... we have it pretty well off in the uk

I hardly use Amazon to buy new manga, the marketplace sellers sell it for less. Sometimes even cheaper on Play.com (if you can find the volume your after).
Most anime is over £10 so that won't affect me that much.
