Second day of rain. TBH I hope it continues. There's nowt I love more than going on holiday whilst it's sh*t at home. A nice 21 degrees today in Rome. I just hope it doesnt reach 30 degrees like when I went last may  |

Got caught in a random torrential downpour after work on Thursday and ended up walking the 4 miles home in the pouring rain with no umbrella.

It's been lovely and warm here for the last 3 days. Which is great except my other half's laptop overheated and shut down while he was RPing last night and my anti-allergy pills aren't working as well now they've got something to deal with >.< *achoo*
Ok... I actually hate the summer

According to the net, the first official day of summer this year is 21/06.
I've always been confused by when the season officially changes because this is how it works in my head (based on changes in weather, plant growth and day length):
November, December, January = Winter
February, March, April = Spring
May, June, July = Summer
August, September, October = Autumn
They're saying this actual summer may be the hottest on record, I'm fine with heat... It's just the pollen count that's the problem, so as long as it's minimal on the moisture and the grass etc can't grow rapidly I should be ok. Otherwise I'm going to need a human-sized hamster ball >.<

Kite, you're in my ghetto?? How has this come to be? lol. Yeah the weather's been sweet here, quite appropriately since I came back from Rome on Thursday. I heard it was sh*t all the time I was away which made it even better lol. Went to the Lowry Outlet Mall yesterday by the quays so was nice. I'm back there on Saturday for a food festival and I'll be seeing that chef Gennaro who's on like Saturday Kitchen Live and a bunch of Jamie Oliver shows which should be fun as he's funny!  |

Starting to thunder here. More rumbles than crashes and it's gone pretty dark and the rain's also started. The price for the warm weekend I guess. /loves a good thunder storm |
