The AC has broken down in the office AC?? Bloody luxury! *cue 4 Yorkshiremen sketch* In our office, you open the window. if very warm, open the window and turn on the fan. If unbelieveably warm... melt >.<

Open windows?!! You don't even know you're born.
In our office, our windows are nailed shut!
Who's going to be the forth? We need a forth for this to work properly!
Seriously though, ours is nailed shut due to the idiotic owner of the workplace before and it was done on the outside, people have tried undoing it but we don't want to break the windows. Thankfully we're moving to a fancy new office that's just being decked out now in the next week or two.
It's made me heat resistant though, on Saturday while everyone else was melting, it felt fairly cool in comparison.

The bar I was working in tonight had no windows you could open, only fire doors.
Which i propped open with some chairs to get air moving inside.

Well try doing PE in a sports hall actually running with no AC, no windows at all in the hall and Sir doesn't take you "are too hot" for an answer. Now thats fun!
Nah I am actually getting quite used to it too. Just would like rain. Was Sports Day today too. Felt like dying. Meh.

Collapse and then blame the school for failures under the health and safety act for failure to make reasonable adjustments due to heat wave. That would make the media happy and school not so happy.

Reports that there will be an electrical storm in my area next week....
PLEASE OH MIGHTY RAIN GODS!
It's so hot that my company's facilities team have made us close all the blinds and doors to make the air con more effective. The air con keeps breaking - I end up stuck in a baking hot, muggy room filed with computers and people working away under dim lighting. But they give us free ice cream for the trouble...

I have heard reports of a storm on Wednesday in my area... My first day on my summer holidays and I get that. Just typical. I knew that would happen. :/

The car-park in the building I'm working in now (for the next 6 weeks at least) has been getting emptier and emptier as the week went on, the restaurant has been getting quieter.
Probably the workers who can afford to take time off, making the most of the weather and either going on holiday, or "working-from-home".
(I'm off for a week in August, I will probably go up to my family's boat for a couple days up near Daventry, so the weather will probably be sh*t)

Enjoyed a huge thunderstorm on Sunday night in the Netherlands, whilst camped at a fantasy/steampunk festival with my comrades of the 3rd Foot & Mouth - 30 minutes of continual overlapping lightning flashes and great booms of thunder. A 10 minute torrential downpour on Saturday was nice and cooling... the rest of the weekend being close on 30deg and very humid... not the best weather to be a steampunk >.>
