Apparently this august is going to contain the hottest week in 300 years. And it's going to be hotter than the Great Heatwave of 1906 (which was 32c at it's peak)

I think they're making me ill. I was well runny nosey this morning  Make your damn mind up weather! You're hot all day and even when I go to sleep so I'm wearing less pjs then you go freezing middle of the night! Its grey and rainy but apparently will reach 20 degrees still. I'm looking forward to autumn now tbh, I suit the clothes far better |

I don't like the attitude people seem to get when it's hot.
Especially as I'm in a shop having to be on my best behaviour while I've got customers who are not exactly being civil to me.
Sometimes it's hard to smile when you're being spoken to like (you can fill this part in yourself but -100 points if you suggest a decent human being).

Weird weather Perfect example of the complete change in weather, I was at Brighton earlier and it was pouring down, the roof was leaking, the concourse was rather slippy, the pavement down towards the little Tesco express was a river. A few hours later and its sunny, mostly dried off, work-men back at work putting new bus waiting areas up. |

I think I read that this is the tail end of a hurricane that crossed the Atlantic.
It's been pretty breezy round these parts with some massive downpours.

I like the rain. I really want Autumn!  My weekend was so nice, I was in bed watching tv to the sound of the rain! I did try that Insanity workout on Sat, well, the free dvd "fast & furious". I lasted 10 mins. Gutted it's too tough, I can't do any of the moves right so I didn't "feel" any of it, I was just out of breath to the point my chest and throat hurt. I started the Jillian Michaels Ripped In 30 on Sunday instead. Still making me red faced and panting!!!! lol. |
