Some folk clearly have faulty memories then... Dr Who has always had a pretty dark side to it and was often properly scary back in the day like the Seeds of Doom, Green Death or the Autons. Indeed, I would say it used to be worse. People slowly turned into alien life forms, people experimented on, post-apocalyptic war, not-quite-Nazis and near genocide and that was within three stories (Ark in Space/Sontaran Experiment/Geneis of the Daleks), never mind stuff like the Doctor getting drowned as a cliffhanger (Deadly Assassin), women being abducted and disintegrated to extend someone's life (Talons of Weng Chaing) and a vast swathe of the galaxy succumbing to heat death and not being brought back using some cheap Deus Ex Machine plot device (Logopolis), etc, etc.

Hmmmm
Watch or not to watch that is the question...
So I wonder if Maisie Williams is playing a regenerated Jenny.

Watched the latest episode of the Big Bang Theory.
It was weak like the entire last season, think it's played itself out in all honesty.

I thought the opening 2-parter was very well done, some nice subtle references to what's gone before (weaponising the dead... where have we seen that before ), liking the use of heritage Daleks and a solid, well-written story. Missy definitely stole the show for me!
