Most of what I've been playing are <2 hour VN's just to get me away from anime for a while..
I am thinking about starting some OEL VN's on Android Marketplace or jump into Dear Drops tonight...

Ooooooh mini ones sound up my street. I really will get around to what you've said on your message. I wish I had money to just splurge on about 10 all at once. My trouble is finding the time to go searching then getting them all. If they were there on my PC I would so be on them haha. It's like I need to find a good dvd ripping programme so I can put some stuff on a tablet my Mum got me for when I go on hol but I'm laaaaazy and hate searching

Well... If you can wait untill you have internet and don't mind only having Digital copys, JList and MangaGamer sells Digital Titles cheaper than UP1's Phisical's... For some titles your talking £9 vs £26
Started DearDrops... This should have been started sooner, but I never got round to it Not a lot I can say as I'm only about 4-5 hours into a 30 hour VN... Pretty good anyway and I like the BGM

Still going strong with Deardrops... Really enjoying this Visual Novel... Although poor Kanade is going to stay friendzoned for a little longer... I might play her route If i get round to it... Using a walkthrough so I've saved it just before the multi-choice event

Whole lot of VNs appearing on Steam. Actually seems like a glut is pouring out onto it. Their Greenlight system has helped, no doubt. ANNNNNNNNNNNND there's talk that Greenlight may be discontinued.
Before Steins;Gate gets its chance.

Danganronpa: Tigger Happy Havoc.
Up to the start of chapter 4.
A group of students who are the 'Ultimate' in something - e.g Ultimate Swimmer, Ultimate Writer, Ultimate Baseball Player, are invited and then incarcerated into a school. A stuffed bear (with a yin yang visual appearance) then tells them that they have two choices - either be good boys and girls and live out their lives forever within the school, or they can 'Graduate' by killing another student... but only if they get away with it.
Part Phoenix Wright, part social/dating sim. Talk to the students to gain their friendship and receive benefits for the court sections.
Of course things start to go belly up and the students bodies start piling up; enter murder mystery mode and the court sessions that later come.
Lessons on morality, sin, forgiveness, understanding and such are rife without being rammed down your throat. The murders also have rhyme and reason behind them, with the well fleshed out characters adding an emotional pull. And of course there's more than face value going on with the 'Who? Why?' behind everything having its own plot-line bubbling away with 999-esk 'breaking the system' moments.
The first murder mystery was too easy, though, but things do pick up.
Honestly I've enjoyed this much more than any recent Phoenix Wright.
Here's hoping that the whole conclusion isn't a wet blanket.
Puhuhuhu.

Yeah, Danganronpa ended with a few things unexplained. Boo.
Anyway, just a heads up to say that Steam's annual Thanksgiving sale thing has many of the Visual Novels on sale.
Was always intrigued by Go Go Nippon, but a little apprehensive, too.
